What reflects what, and who asks? When a mirror looks at itself, does it see anything? Nothing? Both? Neither? Is there truly a reflection separate from what it mirrors?

And what about the observer of the reflection—am I just another reflection? Of what? Can nothing show nothing? Does awareness need something to be aware of? It seems that I am out of control.

What happens when knowing looks inward? And what notices that inward look? Where does one reflection end and another begin? Is there a divide between the observer and the observed, between the mirror and the images it contains? When a mirror is spotless, does it show anything? And if it shows nothing, is it still a mirror?

I was an average guy in a world of empty dreams…

What makes it a mirror—what does it show or its ability to show? If every reflection includes all other reflections, where could anything hide? What could exist on its own? And who would observe this separation?

Can clarity recognize itself? Is awareness aware of itself? When awareness reflects awareness, what is doing the reflecting? What is being reflected? I am somewhere in the center of this happening.

Is there ever really a before and after in this revealing? Does the mirror exist before what it reflects, or does reflecting create both the mirror and the reflection? I can neither remember the last nor imagine the next.

If you’re lost, you can look and you will find me.

What if this mirroring is all that is? No original and copy, no inside and outside, no before and after—just this immediate revealing and knowing.

When did this reflection start? When will it end? Who asks? Who answers? Who considers who is asking and responding? I am not sure this leads anywhere.

Could everyone be this same mirror? Not as something to collect or keep, but as something already reflecting through each seeming individual?

You are always welcome.
